Goal


To advance the standards of Hong Kong Healthcare sector through enriching the knowledge and perspectives of local healthcare providers and industrial experts on advanced therapy with highlights on the evolving technological innovations, regulatory standards and clinical practice.

 

Objectives


Upon the completion of the Training Programme, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the safety, efficacy, quality standards, and clinical considerations related to development, manufacturing, and clinical use of advanced therapy products

  • Appraise local, regional and international pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and clinical guidelines related to ATP

  • Review the quality and safety framework of ATP throughout the entire product lifecycle, from research, development, manufacturing to clinical application and patient care

Professionals/specialists/trainees/students from healthcare sectors or pharmaceutical industry

 

Major Medium of Instruction


English (Individual sessions may be conducted in Cantonese or Mandarin)

 

Themes and Schedule of Live Sessions


Each module will take place on a full-day basis. Participants are free to choose which module(s) to attend.

*Beyond 17 March 2023, all modules will be delivered only as recordings through the e-learning platform.

 

Participant Entitlement


Participants can enjoy full access to the following resources from all modules:

  • Live sessions via video conferencing platform on the scheduled day of training, and

  • On-demand video recordings and course materials on an e-learning platform till 30 June 2023.

 

Programme Assessment

Post-training assessment will be available online for each module.

 

Award of Certificate


An electronic Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants upon satisfying all requirements below in each of the modules:

  • Attend the online live session, or complete the on-demand recordings of respective module, and

  • Complete and attain a pass in the post-course assessment

  • We accept applications on a rolling basis until 30 June 2023.

  • Application to online live session(s) will close on 14 March 2023.

  • To attend live session(s), please enrol at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled date of your earliest interested module
